Such a major travesty at the hands of the law is despicable and the fact that none of the perpetrators were punished is a black mark in Kerela's history. Surrounding this story is a fictional character Abel (Dileep) who didn't overact as he usually does but kept it as real as he is capable of. In the movie "Titanic" you have Jack Dawson a fictional character surrounding a real tragedy, such was Dileep's character. The violence though excessive was justified considering the brutal crime brought upon the people of Thankamany in 1986. The overall feel of the film was good and kept you engaged and the fact that this was inspired by a real event kept bothering you. I feel empathy for the people of Thakamany; the shame and ignominy of denied justice and watching the perpetrators roaming free all those years. I would definitely watch this movie even just to feel their pain.
