फ़ीचर्ड समीक्षाएं
Glad the show is back, but this is more of a recap than anything. The brief scenes with Ford and Mirren remind us why they are the protagonists. We are drawn to them immediately, just as we are repulsed by Dalton and Flynn.
There is a brief scene with Sheriff McDowell (Robert Patrick) and Father Renaud (Sebastian Roche) to remind us of the mindless cruelty used in dealing with Native Americans. And Spenser Dutton (Brandon Sklenar) is making his way home working on a cargo ship, while his pregnant wife is trying to leave England and travel to America.
If these episodes keep moving at the current glacial speed, we likely won't see the families reunited until the last episode. What we all want is the final showdown between Jacob Dutton and Donald Whitfield. If viewers don't see the possibility of that then there is chance viewership will drop off. Two years is a long time to wait between seasons, and I for one want to see action.

To be honest I did not remember everything that happened in season one, but after the wuick recap I recognized so many moments and characters, that I was indeed surprised.
Now this one hour premiere got me completely! I love it! All the Spencer and Alexandra scenes were perfect. Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren deliver. Timothy Dalton is excellent again. And the scenes with the young indian man and woman was great too.
Taylor Sheridan already is the big showrunner of our time, but he expands his legacy on and on with such great shows. All of his shows feature the great landscapes of America, the core theme of the U. S. Taylor Sheridan represents the American way of life!

We have beed looking forward to the return of this excellent series, but the nudity, violence, and sexual depravity in this episode constitute overkill for shock value and spoil an otherwise very good episode. My wife could not stomach the opening scenes with Whitfield and his "playthings."
Ford and Mirren are terrific, and Brandon Sklenar is very good.
Locations are well captured, with excellent production design. The mountain lion looks like it may be a CGI creation.
Overall good but too much of the really rough stuff mentioned above. I'm afraid this trend may continue in upcoming episodes.

1923 is back and it's up to its old bad habits.
The central story that takes place in Montana, and focuses on Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren, as well as, Timothy Dalton, is fantastic. The story should stay there.
But, then the story switches to 'Out of Africa' and the absolutely interminable journey to get to Montana that focuses on 'Spencer' Brandon Sklenar and 'Alex' (Julia Schlaepfer).
Then, we have a story line that doesn't interest me at all, involving the Crow runaway, Teonna Rainwater.
I strongly suggest getting Alex and Spencer to Montana as fast as possible, but that's clearly not going to happen, because it appears she has just boarded 'The Titanic.'

1976, Rich Man Poor Man, Jordache vs Falconetti, hero (Nick Nolte) comes to rescue of a young man being raped by a bully...on a ship!! C'mon folks. Thats just hacky. If this dude isn't done traipsing around the globe and back on the ranch, killing dudes, by the end of this episode I'm gonna bail. Also, the sado-masochism bit is too weird and uneccesary. It looks like someone is trying to work out some personal stuff while also writing a tv show, quite frankly. Maybe a little time with a good therapist instead. It's just off putting. You can leave us out of it. Those actresses should tell y'all to go stuff it.

- ट्रिवियाWhen Donald Whitfield is reading the newspaper in the bathtub, he tells a prostitute as she climbs in with him, that more people die each year because of honey bees than rattlesnakes. Which was true both in 1923 and also in 2025, statistics released by the Centers for Disease Control in 2023 showed that in the United States, between 2011-2021, 72 people died each year, on average, due to bee stings; whereas on average only five people died per year from venomous snake bites. Although the number of fatalities for bee stings and snake bites would have been higher on both sides in 1923, since that was prior to the discovery of epinephrine being effective for treating anaphylaxis and was before the first rattlesnake antivenom was made.
