Its been close to a decade since this gem came out and what a game it was/is. Shinji Makami is a true Horror game master, the man really knows how to make a good horror game. The gameplay is linear with plenty of options to upgrade your weapons, story is suspenseful and keeps you hooked throughout, the atmosphere is eerie from the get go and the bosses are perhaps the best in terms of design and creepiness(Laura and the Keeper being the best of the lot). The main protagonist Sebastian Castellanos is not very interesting, actually the games antagonist Ruvik is more impactful . I played this game recently and it holds really well, infact better than most recent horror games. If you haven't played it yet, I highly recommend you do so.
