He acted in Lynn Nottage's play, "Ruined", in a Manhattan Theatre Club production at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago, Illinois with Saidah Arrika Ekulona in the cast. Kate Whoriskey was the director. Dominic Kanza composed the original incidental music.
