Along with his wife Cindy Marcus, Flip is a prolific playwright, among them teen-themed plays based on classic works of literature. Together with composer Dennis Poore they run the Showdown Stage Company at the Hub Theatre in N. Hollywood, CA, nurturing young actors. He continues to write other projects.
Originally wrote an animated movie version of "Pirates of the
Carribean" with wife Cindy Marcus. They were allowed to walk through the
entire ride at Disneyland to help prepare for the project. During
pre-production the film was abandoned in favor of the live-action
version.
