She co-adapted Shakespeare's "Richard III," for the Pleasance Theatre in London with Eddie Marsan, and played Elizabeth to his Richard. She also adapted Hauptmann's Lonely Lives for the stage, directed by Eddie Marsan, and played Anna, of which Lyn Gardner in The Guardian wrote 'Ruth Platt who plays Anna has such a loose limbed allure that you long to see her play her character's close cousin, Rebecca West.'
