Started his showbiz career in Baltimore at age ten doing magic shows. Became a professional stand-up comic at age 17. Opened his own comedy club (The Charm City Comedy Club) in Baltimore when he was just 18 years old. The club played host to comedy stars like Bill Hicks, Paul Reiser, Bill Mahr, Bob Saget, Fox television entertainment reporter Bill McCuddy got his start there as well as stand-up and The Bernie Mac Show Executive Producer Warren Hutcherson.
