Had always wanted to play an alien on a "Star Trek" show. He got his
wish when he was cast as a member of the vicious Species 8472 on
Star Trek: Voyager (1995)...which turned out to be a character
disguised as a human (Admiral Bullock). He finally got to play a real
alien, the Xindi Primate leader, on Star Trek: Enterprise (2001).
