From 1985-2000, Amin was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of
Trimark Pictures Inc., a small production company specializing in
independent, home video and small scale theatrical motion picture
distribution. At one time, Trimark was one of the leading production
companies in home video and independent productions. In 2000 the company merged with Lionsgate where Amin became the single largest shareholder, and was made Vice-Chair. He also held a seat on the board of directors until late 2009.
