David is an alumni of The University of North Alabama and Boston University, where he majored in Computer Science. He was ceremoniously inducted into The Scarlet Key Society, received numerous leadership scholarships, founded a free and open university hackerspace, and spent a year and a half concentrating on Information Economics at the MIT Center for Digital Business, before transitioning into his cybernetic, digital-activism roles. David says he majored in Computer Science "because mathematics has always been my worst subject.".
