Bart De Meirsman although born in Torhout in the province of West Flanders did not actually ever live there. He grew up in the province of Flemish Brabant in Belgium in a small town called Haacht and later on he moved to a nearby city known for its university. The beautiful city of Leuven (only 15 miles fork the Belgian capital Brussels).
