This movie is about a group of young men on the cusp of starting their lives. They are making decisions about their futures and one has decided his future will be in the military and after discharge he will seek an occupation in civil service. The guys decide to take a trip to see their friend off as he joins the military. Their evening is filled mostly with a lot of fun and hanging out but things take a sour turn when they encounter a domestic situation and try to intervene on behalf of the abused woman. This decision will change their lives.
Let's talk about the great parts of this film. To start off, this is a very relatable story. We see sad situations of domestic violence and unfortunately, too often we turn away from a moral responsibility to step in and stop these abuses. It comes down to people simply saying it is none of their business when in reality it ends up affecting all of us. So, it is really refreshing to see a group of young men who refuse to simply stand by and watch. It is a commendable action. That along with the bonds of friendship share between these boys are the beautiful aspects of this film.
What's awful about this movie, is things that I can't really get into without spoilers. So, let me just say that I was sad about how the film ended. This still gets a high score from me. I felt it was well scripted, acted and filmed. This is a truly touching drama and I am really glad I came across it. Check it out. It's worth a watch.
