I should be writing a bilingual review. A good part of the movie must be lost in translation. The dialogues are very good, in french, when it comes to making fun of the potitical discourse in Africa. The stereotypes are all there, and we can have a good laugh about them all. The movie is poorly rated although it is a quite good comedy. We just don't share the same humour. try a different flavour. Be advised that if, as a member of the international community, you think too much of yourself, you won't laugh. if you are open to criticism, however, the leader of the mission, more interested in selling asparagus than surveying the elections gives the tone

Aux francophones : bon moment de détente. On se moque du système et on a bien raison de ne pas en pleurer. Un peu de cynisme et une fin optimiste. Des blagues sur les stéréotypes toujours pas éculées, et surtout des dialogues travaillés. feel good movie
