Sometimes true love is found the second time around. What seems like a rude coincidence turns out to be a charming sign of interest by a young construction worker in a woman who happens to live near a construction site. The pair hit it off right away, and learn that both had been divorced after years of unsuccessful attempts to make their respective marriages work. They decide to give true love another chance.
This quiet little love story effectively uses flash backs to highlight important moments in the couple's relationship. Although it seems as though the disagreements and heated arguments dominate their relationship, there are the tender moments that show how deeply they care for one another. Their adoption of a deserted dog brings much sunshine into their lives, only to show how they are both devastated when their beloved pet dies.
While going though divorce proceedings (after 13 years together), both reflect on what it was they most cherished about the other. Again, the viewer gets a bitter sweet look inside the hearts of two people who have had their disagreements, yet still see that soulmate in each other. "Are you happy?". Neither can give a clear audible response. The final scene is worth the wait. - With a minimal budget, this turned out to be a delightful love story with universal themes. The romantics out there will not be disappointed!
