Sister Ashleigh: Chapters 1-5

Shot in 2016 for the mormongirlz website, this DVD compilation benefits from stronger XXX scenes and casting in the title role of the wonderful mainstream Adult starlet Trillium, a personal favorite of mine.

Thematically it is also something of a departure, as there is both suspense and novelty regarding her character of Sister Ashleigh, like prior protagonists a sweet young thing preparing for induction into this fictional cult tagged as the Mormon Church, but being seduced by a stud (variously credited as Bishop Hart or just Brother Hart) prior to her being assigned a husband to marry. Her deflowering even occurs before President Oaks (misspelled as Oak on the DVD liner where all the credits reside) gets to exert his monarchical privilege of first dibs on the ladies pre-marriage.

Her scene oddly staged in a van (a sort of left-handed 1970s homage?) where Hart does his thing also is something new, in that the two of them carry on an actual conversation, rather than the ritualistic silence or Simon Says type dialog from previous episodes.

The rituals remain, including three plain but recognizable porn actresses "prepping" Ashleigh in a lesbian group-sex scene against a white background. This inevitable scene in the DVDs so far shows a glaring fault in the pornographers' format for their crypto-Mormon universe. All four actresses excel at uninhibited sexual performances for mainstream Adult labels, especially lesbian content for Gamma, Girlfriends or Sweetheart, but here are limited to robotic, frankly tedious mechanical sex to supposedly stay in character as Mormon Girls.

Similarly, the male talent is hardly up to the level of 21st Century porn actors, and since their dramatic chops are nil, the sexual performance is center stage. Series regular "President Oaks" in particular is blank and bland, looking more like a wannabe ready to audition for starring in Trivago TV commercials, rather than a stud.

Extreme penetrations are the hook for this particular DVD, as Trillium goes through the ritual as a punishment apparently, of mounting a series of rubber dildos attached to a table, against a black backdrop. A couple of them are huge, making the spectacle of the actress accommodating them to her vagina the typical "gee whiz" effect of gonzo porn, far afield from the Couples friendly aspect appropriate to this series.
