This entire movie over and over and over. My sides were hurting. Everybody in the audience was having a great time! I wish there was a little bit more spotlught on Darkness, but it was definitely awesome. Maybe she'll get her movie in the future.

I give it an Explosion/10. Just wish there were more explosions. Lots of rainbow vomit and other lewd stuff. A couple of rapey scenes too, so uh don't bring your kids.....(this never was a "kids" anime to begin with).
All in all if you're a fan of Konosuba you will definitely like this movie. Lots of laugh out loud moments. Another hit for animated movies in 2019!

Unlike many of the movies this one not only fits into the timeline, doesn't seem to "Retcon" anything, adds character growth and development and is absolutely worth the watch.
The first 15 minutes is packed with exceptionally cringeworthy moments, but a change from some of episodes in the series all of them quickly set up the story. Avoiding spoilers before long the movie is over, providing some quality character development, a few heart warming moments, tons and tons of cheese and a surprising amount of fun. The experience makes me want to do a rewatch binge to see if it's the best way to view KonoSuba.

Pro's:
- Quality story arc with closure.
- Character development and growth.
- Jokes and cheese line up well with the story.
- Excellent English dubbing.
Con's:
- Animation quality dips significantly at times.
- Cheese / Fan service can be a little over the top, but of course some love it.
- One cringeworthy moment where the protagonist justifies sexual assault and begins to act on it... foiled of course, but the whole temptation angle could have been handled better.

This movie was everything I wanted it to be and more. Dysfunctional characters getting thrown into whacky situations left and right. If you're a fan of Konosuba at all then this is worth seeing at your closest theatre while you can. It was worth the 3 hour round trip for me! If you haven't seen the series, I'd highly recommend you watch it first, then at least you'll know what you're in for. Also, if you subscribe to extreme gender politics I'd recommend you skip this one, as it'll only you off and probably drive more people to see it after you rant about it.
If you are a fan of the series and can't wait for a season 3, then this is a MUST watch! I had nothing but a good time from start to finish, and I have nothing critical to say about the film aside from it lacking any kind of OP or ED (I wish they had something, but it didn't detract from my enjoyment in the slightest). Seriously, just watch it if you're any kind of Konosuba fan :)

I was so enthusiastic to watch this movie not because I already knew what's it going to be about, but because it focuses on our top favorite Crimson Gals, the explosion maniac Megumin and the adorable
YunYun. I was amazed how the movie made it look better than being read and it had some extra content that the author wrote put into it. It didn't let me down.

If you love the series you will love this movie.
kazuma especially great and very funny.
i wish we had more aqua moments but she is still fun.
meeting megumin's family is great.
im very happy about this movie.
they did a great job.
The whole movie is still keeping the Konosuba vibe after two of its seasons. The movie is funny, stupid and nonsensical and I planning to see it the second time if possible.
The audiences were having a great time to, we all laugh out loud every time Kazuma appears on screen.

A better looking longer episode is what it was. It was funny and those explosions looked incredible you could tell all the budget went into the megumin scenes.

Just like the series, this movie is full of funny twists and turns! This movie is an absolute blast! Some of the best anime characters are the stars of the show and it EXPLODES like crazy!

I cannot give above 7.3/10 although cartoons are easier to get high points because the story is quite confusing at some parts. They are hard to digest the logics.
The special effects just normal like usual anime.
The jokes are so so and the boobs are too much, LOL. Same old Japs lust like those maniacs.

Kazuma's party is suddenly alerted by an outrageous letter delivered by Yunyun. The letter requested that they come to the Crimson Demon Clan's village, that is facing a threat that could mean it's ending.
While I only finished the series back in March or April of last year but it was nice revisiting this anime for probably one more time.
If you enjoyed the series you would definitely enjoy the movie

It is a funny yet tragically bad movie sequel to what has been an excellent example of anime these last few years. It is overly long thanks to them beating a handful of jokes into the ground. When they hit upon a truly hilarious moment in the film they felt the need to keep telling the same joke for extended periods. It is largely aimless, every time it seems to get back to the main plot it veers off like a drunk driver to things that either fall flat or lead to beating jokes to death. There were parts that could have been expanded upon that would have kept the movie from being just a random assortment of sex jokes but they instead opted to tell sex jokes for more than half the damn movie, and they kept telling the same jokes. I seriously hope people read this review and skip the movie and instead wait for another season if that will even happen. This is one of the worse anime movie adaptations I have ever seen. The only reason it got 6 stars from me is because some of the jokes were exceptionally funny when you hear them the first time, not so much after 3,4,5,6 times.
Loved the anime, but the movie was terrible. Some parts retained the what I enjoy about the anime, but the jokes were dragged out way too long. If the anime continues, I hope it isn't more like the movie.

The love the movie and it happened to be the kind of movie I wanted to see since it was announced. Great content as usual. I happened to love the comedy and action scenes I hope others feel the same way
The movie itself is very good, it has very good moments such as: the final battle, the animation, the character development that is given to us through Megumin, Yunyun and the charismatic group that we have become accustomed to throughout the series. Which are laughs and at some moments seriousness to touch on certain themes, although not so much, although as I said I liked the film, there are things that did not convince me, such as: the climax is very fast, the villain appears and within an hour it is already It's dead because they don't give us that much introduction and with respect to the village I would have liked it to be developed a little more, although the movie does, but a little more about the culture and the crimson demons but the movie is fine if you watched the series You are going to enjoy it a lot, there are laughs and very enjoyable moments that make the film really very good. I will always say that konosuba is a series to enjoy to laugh and not so much to analyze.
The movie does end up feeling more like 4-5 episodes of the show stitched together then an actual movie. Especially considering that the animation quality is more or less the same as the show and not remotely better.
However, that isn't necessarily bad as that means it inherits all the things that we loved from the show. The comedy is still on point, the characters are lovable dummies and the over the top nature of everything is still here. It's basically just half a season of Konosuba and that's fine.

Essentially playing like an episode of the show but stretched out to feature length, Konosuba Legend of Crimson offers an explosion of laughs, colour and all-around fun for fans both new and old. It definitely feels like the franchise has not lost any of the pep in its step, there's a fine balance between treating its characters with disrespect and love and it's something you can only experience with this franchise. Because the film has such a deep love for its characters, it has no problem making them as ridiculous as possible for a good laugh. The characters move with impressive fluidity and, because there's an inherent sense of ridiculousness throughout, the film has no problem contorting the faces and the bodies of its characters to better punctuate a gag with fun visuals. This also extends to its fight scenes, which also expand their scope to a feature film level with the colourful personality befitting the franchise. Due to the nature of it being a feature film without the restrictions of its usual television constraints, there are a few jokes that seem like they go a bit too far, but they by no means ruin the experience. The rhythmic nature of how the dialogue flows from one comedic situation to another keeps things moving at a constantly entertaining pace. It does just feel like you're hanging out with old friends again. Legend of Crimson is an all-too-appropriate explosion of all-around fun with pure laughs and ridiculous situations, it doesn't aim too high, but it's still a celebration of everything that makes this anime fantasy such a treat, a victory lap for the franchise that's also teasing a future burning quite bright, I wish I'd taken my chance to see this in the cinema when it came out.

An anime with a perfect blend of adventure, comedy and action.
The jokes might have been a little off sometimes but it doesn't push the joke too far to ruin the fun.
The animation and action is very good and thrilling to watch, all the explosions are very well made and the characters are animated well too.
The story is not that impressing, but it is still good to watch and gives a fun experience.
And the movie can be enjoyed equally even if you haven't watched the anime show.
In all the anime movies I have watched so far, this is the best one as this gives a feeling of completeness, rather than just building up for their show.

the movie clearly doesnt take itself serious either, which is for the better.
