German-Fascist Propagandha. Sadly from one of the early greats of Horror Cinema

This Wegener film is one of the ones that damaged his reputation the most. A bad film, which is also Nazi propaganda, should not produce any more money today, even through DVD sales. Without inspiration, except for the glorification of the German-fascist pre-war thought, an elevation of the war, through embellishments, weakening of the horrors of war and mendacious focus-setting. Fascist film cannot be art and neither can it be entertaining.
