Sfida a Glory City

Former rancher Clint Brenner and the younger Reese, his equal in skill at gun-fighting, are independently recruited to help farmer Seth Grande free the locals of Manitoba town Glory City from vast ranch owner Jack Villaine's rule of terror.

Lex Barker and Pierre Brice forsake their buckskin and moccasins to star in this slightly unusual ( the gunfight as a show is a good idea) and rather atmospheric western. There's some good performances especially by Lex Barker, who is quite weary and keeps on saying that it's none of his business, and Marianne Koch, who once again, is forced to stay with the heel. Sort of how she was coerced to be with Ramon in A fistful of Dollars. Having said all this, this western plods too much, the pace is slower than a tortoise and it lacks some spark as well as action. The gunfight was a bit of a letdown. Shame, because this could have been quite good.
