Naufragio

If you want to see a film with your children, then "Shipwrecked" ("Haakon Haakonsen") is a decent bet. While the movie isn't perfect, it will provide entertainment for all ages and isn't too violent for the kiddies.

The story is much like "Treasure Island" (combined, a bit, with "Home Alone"), as young Haakon goes to sea as a cabin boy and ends up being on a ship run by a pirate! But, before the pirate can spring his trap, the ship crashes and Haakon ends up.on his own deserted island where he makes a variety of traps in case the pirates return, as he found their hidden treasure there and knows they'll be back. What's next for the boy?

The film seems derivative because so many story elements are familiar. But the overall package is nice and although I wasn't thrilled with the story, I did like and appreciate it.
