Kandyland

Strangely, this is one of mu top 3 favorite movies of all time, and has been since I was 17 years old. It's not tacky pole dancing, stripper movie at all. The acting is sub-par and cheesy, with the exception of Kim Evenason (a personal favorite of mine), and Sandahl Bergman, those two are great. I don't find the script to be all that bad, despite other reviews to the contrary. The nudity is great because it's not overdone, not gratuitous. Topless dancing at it's finest. Not pole dancing, but actual dancing. But what really makes this movie great, is the music! So overlooked and underrated. If you like 80's music, you'll love this quirky, catchy soundtrack in the movie. What's nice about it, is that it's a great couples movie as it's a bit of a love story for the ladies, but has the sexy nudity for the guys, and a plot-twist you don't expect. Also kind of sad. I'm a woman and I love it. The nudity only makes it all the better in my opinion. Can't find it on DVD, I have a rare VHS copy, hard to find. It's way worth watching...over and over in my opinion. A great late-night movie when you want to shake it up a bit!
