The Killing Jar

This film show cases a couple of its acting talent well and has excellent and clever Art Direction/Design.The story line is OK and it has a great twist like Roald Dahl story which makes it well worth the watch. Very Well art directed.Compared with some of the weak blockbuster story lines out there at the moment, for a 45 minute film and interior studio build this does extremely well.Shot on a tight budget over 7 days this film attracted deserved attention at a couple of festivals.The editing did not bother me,though it is a weak area of the piece,as the story line is so unique for its time and the Art Direction and Lighting hold the whole thing in high standard.This film was made in a time when the general Hooyllwod film was of much higher craftsmanship therefore I think this film is meritorious and stands up well in the 21st Century.If anything it was before its time.
