- QuizA body-double was used for Georgina Ward's nude scenes. Norman J. Warren said she was the only one who refused to be nude, but the other actresses had no problem being naked. Ward later agreed to perform fully nude in With These Hands (aka Sex Clinic) in 1971.

LOVING FEELING is an early work in the career of cult British director Norman J. Warren and absolutely nothing like his later gruelling horror pictures. Instead this is a relationship drama masquerading as a sex film; it's about a popular radio DJ and his relationships with various women. There's not much a story really, which is why Warren pads out the tale with endless sex scenes and the like which are quite tame by modern standards.
The film suffers from an obscure cast and some rather unlikeable characters, not least Simon Brent's bland protagonist. You wonder why you're supposed to care about the life of a character so devoid of interest and intellect. He beds women and wonders about his marriage to his long-suffering wife, and that's it. Aside from a brief turn from Francoise Pascal (who receives an 'introducing' credit), none of the actresses are particularly memorable or famous. Georgina Ward has the most interesting character in the film as Brent's put-upon wife and was doubled for her extensive nude scenes.
What LOVING FEELING offers is plenty of topless nudity from the actresses and not a great deal else, not even much in the way of humour. You don't even see much of the Swinging Sixties which is a pity, although you do see a belly dancer in a brief party scene. Maybe some voice-over narration would have made things more interesting. I was amused by the opening credits which give thanks to the Vogue Bingo Club, Margate - hardly a salubrious start but oh-so British.
