A DirectX-compatible upgrade was released in 1999 and is available for free on the company's website (www.tbyte.com). It replaces the original executable (EXE) file with a newer version that makes the game playable on Windows 95 and windows 98 systems.

Pointless puzzle adventure

If you enjoy solving brainteasers like arranging certain pieces on a chessboard so no piece can be captured, buy a puzzle book. The 11th Hour is just so much visual eye-candy around a pathetic plot and a series of boring puzzles. The FMV sequences have next-to-nothing to do with the gameplay itself, and Stauf's constant taunting soon begins to grate. Avoid.
