I was about 11 or 12 when Charlie Horse Music Pizza aired, but I was a fan nonetheless having grown up with Shari Lewis shows in the early 90s. She was a part of me. This show was just like any other Shari Lewis creation; it had good musical numbers, just the right amount of comedy, and of course life lessons. I really missed the show when it went off the air. I remember coming home just to watch it and sing the theme song. What made this show truly special was the fact that anyone of any age could watch it and get something out of it. It wasn't too childish. It was a good family show that pretty much kept up with the times but had it's own special sensitive appeal.
