"The Easy Way" is a deceptively simple video, among the best of porn pioneer Alex DeRenzy's late-career releases.
It is carefree, upbeat and relentlessly positive, quite different from the dozens of throwaway anal-themed gonzo junkers he cranked out in the 1990s. Premise is Peter North getting a new video camera and going outdoors to shoot footage he hopes to submit to a TV series (a la "America's Funniest Home Videos") to vie for a $10,000 prize.
He photographs pretty girls and they easily gravitate toward having sex for his camera. Of course he joins in the action himself along the way, and slow-motion highlights repeated during the end credits spotlight North's trademark copious cum shots.
An impressive cast of big names and beauties shows up and the gals are beautifully styled, including Debi Diamond, Tianna, Alice Springs and especially Samantha Strong who imagines (in erotic fantasy format) a high-fashion sex scene with Randy Spears. Randy West shows up as Debi's pushy boyfriend who insists that North shoot him and Debi having sex at their van as an audition tape (North hands it over to him afterward) as he hopes both of them can become Hollywood stars.
It's a fun video, close to all-sex, but very sex-positive, not just porn filler. Version I watched ran barely an hour long, due to removal of an opening sex scene starring Alexndria Quinn, who in a then-famous scandal (I covered it as a reporter contemporaneously) was found to have been underage when shooting porn including this feature.
