- QuizThe stunt where Jim Carrey (Charlie) throws himself out of the car was done in only one take.
- BlooperCharlie's diagnosis of "advanced delusionary schizophrenia with involuntary narcissistic rage" is incorrect. Schizophrenia causes delusions and hallucinations with paranoia. Many people used to believe that schizophrenia resulted in multiple personalities, but this is not the case. He should have been diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder (also known as multiple personality disorder). Further, there is no medication used to treat multiple personalities, although some medications can be used for other symptoms (such as anxiety and depression) that accompany the condition. Treatment of DID involves years of psychotherapy - the disorder cannot be cured by taking a pill as portrayed in the film.

Recensione in evidenza
I think the best quote I can think of to use here is "Shocking... positively shocking." I had planned to spend an evening at the movies seeing "What Lies Beneath" with Michelle Pfeiffer and Harrison Ford. Unfortunately, the intended picture for the evening was sold out, so we decided to go with the last-minute, spur-of-the-moment decision of "Me, Myself and Irene" (as I had already seen most of the other movies out).
I must say, as much as I like Jim Carrey's movies, and as funny as I think he is, I was apalled at the quality of this film. A few of the gags could be found funny, but all in all, it's almost one of those movies you don't want to tell anyone you actually saw.
I, personally, didn't like it, but some people go with it, soooo...
