In Rio de Janeiro, the twenty year-old virgin dancer Zelinda Barbosa (Eulina Rosa) works at TV Globo dancing in TV shows produced by the director Borges (Cláudio Marzo). Her obsessive and ambitious mother Ms. Helena (Berta Loran) advises her daughter to seduce Borges to succeed in her career in television and invites Borges to have dinner with them. Then she proposes Borges, who is married with children, to ride with Zelinda in his car late night. A couple of days later, Zelinda claims to her mother that she is still virgin but has the symptoms of pregnancy.
Ms. Helena takes Zelinda takes her daughter to the gynecologist for medical examination and when the doctor receives the results, he tells that Zelinda is virgin and pregnant. He proposes an abortion, but Zelinda tells her mother that she intends to lose her virginity with Borges first. While they travel to Cabo Frio, the doctor realizes that committed a mistake and the result belongs to another client and Zelinda is not pregnant. Helena unsuccessfully tries to call Zelinda in Cabo Frio to tell her the news before she shags Borges.
"Em Busca do Susexo" is one of the worst Brazilian films I have ever seen, with an awful and morally rotten story. The characters are simply despicable: Helena is a mother that forces her daughter to shag with her boss to take professional and financial advantages. The wolf Borges is a husband and father that neglects his wife and children to have affairs with women.Zelinda is a shallow woman dominated by her mother. I am not a moralist and I like amoral films, but "Em Busca do Susexo" is not funny and has no message other than an apology to prostitution. My vote is one (awful).
Title (Brazil): "Em Busca do Susexo" ("Seeking Succesex")
