The DVD version of the movie has scenes and extended scenes that were cut/shortened in recent television airings of the film on the Hallmark Channel.

After Nathan convinces Emilie to give him and the town two weeks, a montage of scenes implies the passage of time. However, in the final scene after the montage ends when Nathan comes out of the house and they're all admiring the lights, it's the same day as the day he convinced her to stay for two weeks. Also during the montage, the Christmas tree is up but undecorated, but when Alexander Foster had arrived at the house earlier, the tree is fully decorated.
