Ramsays lost their mojo.

Ajooba Kudrat Kaa review :

The early 90s had waned Ramsay brothers box office clout and their Bandh Darwaza (1990) and Aakhri Cheekh (1991) had failed to attract a sizeable audience. Ajooba Kudrat Kaa was publicised as India's first film on the Himalayan abominable snowman aka Yeti. The makers forgot that a B grader called Banmanush (1980) had already beat them to it a decade ago.

Anyway, this one was less of horror and more of an emotional love story between the snowman and a little girl who loses her way to him. The Ramsay regulars - Deepak Parashar, Hemant Birje, Anil Dhawan - were all there but Ajooba Kudrat Kaa lacked in both the chills as well as the oomph factor associated with them.

The result : Another box office flop!!
