- QuizAfter the release of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (2001), Hideo Kojima said that he would not direct this game. He wanted a member of his team at Konami to replace him, but none of them wanted to, so he was forced to change his mind and direct after all.
- BlooperThe first HALO jump was in 1960 not 1964.
- Citazioni
Major Zero: 007 is the biggest thing to come out of England since the Mayflower. I wouldn't be surprised if they made 20 more of those movies.
- Curiosità sui creditiAfter the end credits, there are two revealing phone calls by Ocelot.

Recensione in evidenza
The game itself is like watching a James Bond movie...
This game has it all. Hideo Kojima has once again impressed me and as well as the other millions of people who have played his Metal Gear games. It has turned into a complete franchise. This is probably the best Metal Gear Solid game I've ever played, although I was a little disappointed about the camera overhead view, but I can understand why it was used as a specific perspective for this particular game.
Hideo is a pure genius when it comes to "Tactical Espionage Action". "Snake Eater" has the most Cinematic cut-scenes, challenging gameplay, unique storytelling, unbelievable plot twists, and as always little Easter eggs scattered around this game that you can't even describe. Simply, this game just boggles the mind. There is so much you can do. You can basically do anything in MGS 3 SE has to offer such as eating, taking good care of yourself, its just endless, From this day, I am still playing it, and from what I've played so far I can't get my hands off of it.
Btw, there is a bunch of classic moments, so much 1960's related reference, and also some James Bond movie creation reminiscent to this game it's just INSANE!!! I'm wondering why Hideo hasn't directed a Metal Gear Solid movie himself. =) Wait what am I saying? This is a movie itself! More like an interactive movie with flawless execution! =D My final words to this game is just simply a "masterpiece of a work of art."
