Rebeca

This is an awful soap opera. I work in an institution that translates this series an I must confess that I haven't seen such things in a long time. I have edited soap operas before, but this seems to be the worst of all. The cast plays so bad that I would rather see cartoons than this (of course, cartoons are funnier). But the play of the actors just sucks. Rebeca's father, Adalberto, is the worst of all. His way of acting made me mad a couple of times. He's got no coherence and... he just plays bad !!! All people say that Rebeca is the most beautiful woman in this entire soap, but I don't really think so. In fact, she's common. Not too beautiful, not too bright and especially, not sane. I can understand she is confused, but not like that - I mean it's not because of her part, I can tell it for sure ! She just plays very bad. And the subject is quite weak. I mean, Miami is just invaded by Latinos ? All the people speak only Spanish ? What is this ? Couldn't they put the action in Central America or at least, in Spain, a country more developed ? And the weather is awful, you can see this clearly, but the crew insists that "it's very beautiful". When you see all the clouds in the sky, you JUST CAN'T SAY THAT THE SUN IS SHINING BRIGHTLY IN THE SKY ! That's all. Sorry for the other people who posted here, but I don't know what they've watched, because this soap seems pretty weak to me.
