Saw this at a film festival, on a whim. It seems to be one of the only films that "stuck" with me of the thousands I have seen. I have been trying to find a copy of it ever since. I was that blown away by the writing and acting. Really top notch in my opinion. Obviously the players have a great connection with the director. I know the budget wasn't too high, so they did it for the love. The director did a wonderful job putting this hard topic on screen. His story feels lifelike, not dramatized! You'll know what I mean when you see it, as I don't want to give it away.
It's such a shame it is so hard to find shorts, but for this one, search high and low!
