A teacher refers to the Swedish "serial killer" Thomas Quick. At the time of production Quick was in an institution for the criminally insane after being convicted for 8 murders. He had confessed to 30 murders but most of these were outside the then 25-year statute of limitations. Quick withdrew all of his confessions in 2008 and in December 2009 the court of appeal granted a retrial of one of his convictions. Quick was acquitted in September 2010. He demanded retrials of the rest of the murder convictions and on 30 July 2013, Quick was acquitted of the last of eight murder convictions. Referring to him as a serial killer or even a murderer is a factual error.

Versioni alternative
The 2005 DVD-R release from Slasherpool has a much shorter version of the introduction that shows what happened at the high school ten years ago. The introduction was edited down for pacing and all the gore content is intact. This is the version the director prefers and runs at 89 minutes.

embarrassing

I finally saw this new try to make a Swedish slasher and I was extremely disappointed. The story was confusing and the actors was so wooden that even me seems like a "Laurence Olivier" in comparison. The worst thing was, of course, that the murder scenes was so amateurish filmed that there wasn't any sense of danger, violence or pain. There was just someone that pointed the camera against the make up-effect and thought that it looked cool. The editing was beyond bad and the unintentional comedy wasn't even funny.

And pink blood? Strange! It's a hard thing to produce an indie-movie without money, but some people just shouldn't come near a camera. I think their next movie, The Griefing, will be better. I hope so anyway.
