The famous rock band gives another long concert, this time in my home area in a stadium where I've watched many of Buffalo Bills pro football games: Rich Stadium (now Ralph Wilson stadium.) Instead of a 160-minute football game, however, the Dead provided fans with 160 minutes of music.
If the DVD footage hadn't said "Rich Stadium," I wouldn't have known where this concert took place. It could have been anywhere since they only show you the stage and some fans here and there. It could have been any big outdoor stadium.
Anyway, the DVD is standard "Dead" stuff. Sometimes I wonder why I have a handful of these, to be honest, because the concerts look and sound so much alike The only difference here was a kaleidescope-like special-effects during a long drum solo. It was interesting to view and the drum solo, too, was different than any I've ever heard. To me, most drum solos get boring, but this one definitely wasn't.
Other than that, same-old/same-old which, for fans, is just fine.
