Pocong 2

Pocong is a decent horror flick. Comparitively speaking. Some scenes and acting as really camp and basically throw you of course. But when it works it really creeps you out. Unfortunately those scenes are few and far between. Additionally the ghost instead of being scary is just... funny. There is one scene which builds up superbly (the scene on the stairs), but when you see the ghost all scare factor dissipates

The script however is nice and given better acting and directing (plus some more cash budgetwise) this movie could really do some rounds across the Asian horror loving international audience.

Most of what works is the premise of an teenage orphan being left by her sister to live by herself in a rundown and creepy apartment. The detachment makes you wonder if she is truly being haunted or is this just a reaction to the feeling of being abandoned by her sister.
