The location of the film was a building that was adjacent to Callan's cousins, Jockey Roscoe T. Goose (winner of the 1913 Kentucky Derby, winner of the 1916 KY Oaks), and his brother Jockey Carl Goose "Ganz" (winner of the 1913 KY Oaks Horse Race). Callan was the caretaker of this building and he used it to produce several films between 2009 and 2010. At the time, there was no electricity in the building and that meant that the shots you see were filmed with the use of flashlights with weak batteries. The Canon XL2 video camera does a good job shooting in low-light situations and it was doing a great job for this film. The weak batteries meant that the cast and crew had to move through shooting the film quickly. There was no way to recharge the camera batteries. It was a struggle to complete this film on time within the crew's and cast's schedules.
