AN INVITATION TO TEA - A Fantastical Journey Inwards

Desiree Abeyta's short film, AN INVITATION TO TEA, is everything it set out to be and more! This beautiful film confronts the harsh reality of adulthood by reminding us of childhood hopes and dreams. With mostly practical effects, Director Abeyta brings the highly-imaginative world of Willigad to life in a way that is both fantastical and subtle. Similar to stories like Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan, AN INVITATION TO TEA reminds us to stay young and keep true to the the dreams of thy youth. It's no wonder this film won the AUDIENCE CHOICE AWARD at the 2021 Blackbird Film Festival! Definitely a MUST SEE for everyone!
