A Call Girl's Story

Jacky St. James supports sex workers as usual, making this glossy portrait of a teenage girl turning to prostitution to earn money for college the antithesis of those traditional porn cautionary tales of girls going wayward. But a fine performance by Danni Rivers in the title role plus a terrific surprise ending won me over.

Jacky has a key acting role as Danni's mom, who's a meanie who refuses to pay for her kid's college, even after the kid is accepted at the prestigious University of St. James (in-joke time, fans).

So our heroine needs to make money, and not the kind waitressing would provide. She tries being a webcam girl, but chickens out. Her pal Abella Danger gives her bad advice about finding a sugar daddy, and Danni as a virgin sets up an auction for herself, with a guy on-line agreeing to pony up $10,000 for deflowering her.

That's Ryan McLane, who turns out to be a nice guy, and later refers her to a wealthy friend who agrees to pay $50,000-plus for tuition, room & board, etc. at St. James and she agrees. It's Stirling Cooper, also another nice guy (writer-directr Jacky doesn't cast any creeps or dangerous types in this movie). We also get to see young Gia Derza servicing her sugar daddy Ryan Driller in another flashback as well as Abella's humping a married man Steve Holmes.

Things are going hunky-dory, until that trick ending, well set-up by Jacky.
