Operation Footprint: The Steps to a New Life

I first saw this film shortly after Aaron made it. It is so well done, especially considering he was in high school at the time. The story is compelling and inspirational. Aaron and his dad traveled to South America, where he interviewed people involved with this program for his film. He followed the stories of specific children who are benefiting from the doctors' expertise. When you see these kids and their families, you understand why this work is so important, and you realize how lucky we are to have excellent medical care readily available here in the United States. The work that is being done to help these children is portrayed brilliantly in this documentary. Kudos to Aaron Blum for bringing attention to this humanitarian effort to give children with club feet a new lease on life.
