Ginger Loves Girls!

Pornographer Nica Noelle is sympatico with legend Ginger Lynn, one of many aging stars she has cast in lesbian roles as Act II in their long careers. Her insightful interview with Ginger is the reason to watch this lengthy feature that Nica calls a "pornumentary", while the 4 sex vignettes are okay but not as scintillating as what the lady has to say.

An odd touch is that the four sex vignettes presented here are scripted by Nica as fictional one-act plays (off-off-off-off Broadway) rather than just Ginger meets this or that female porn star and humps her. Opening vignette casts Ginger as roommate to Elexis Monroe, latter the overt lesbian of the two, truly a summit meeting of superstars from different generations.

Ginger and Elexis fight, and then Ginger requests of her roomie that she show her how lesbians have sex. Monroe takes umbrage, but gives in and the resulting vignette emphasizes tribbing and use of a dildo/vibrator.

Next up to bat is Stephanie Swift, another summit meeting of sorts (and the first time the two legends ever acted a scene together). Result is plenty of SS vocal orgasms.

Mia Presley, all dolled up, plays the uppity youngster in the next segment, with Ginger almost scary in her intensity as she rubs that pesky makeup off the kid's face with a towel and throws her around before settling down to sex. This mini-psychodrama is notable for Presley not being fazed by performing opposite a true icon, and the realism of the humping.

Finale is rather strange, but a more personal statement by the director than by her star. They are lovers and Ginger is the dom, wondering if her soul mate is really open to new things. The main new thing is not all that new, rather out of the old Joe Sarno play-book, as Ginger fetches a couple of "carved" and frozen cucumbers (!!) and uses them as dildos on hapless Noelle. This lengthy sex with a vegetable routine would be campy, except that it represents an interesting reversal of roles, as Nica is directing and scripting the feature yet Ginger is clearly in charge of the action. At any rate, the climax occurs when Ginger painstakingly inserts a butt plug in Nica's posterior, more achievement than erotic.

The interviews between the sex were fascinating - not to spoil it entirely but Ginger is frank and revealing about her 5-year love affair with Charlie Sheen, whom she met on the set of his brother's Young Guns II (and she boasts having laid all the other guys there including Kiefer Sutherland and Lou Diamond Phillips); delightfully bad-mouthing Ron Jeremy, who was her partner on her first 8mm porn loop shoot; her first lesbian affair with a crew member on the R-rated feature VICE ACADEMY; her serious attempts at a straight acting career, studying for years with Milton Katselas; and her amusing dream of becoming a star rock singer, dashed by her lack of ability. Oddest touch is that Nica has Ginger in very little makeup and disheveled hair throughout this video - not sure why, but something of a disservice to us fans who remember her truly fresh beauty back in 1984.
