A simple film with a simple, yet powerful message of humanity, often misconstrued as anti-vaxxer or pro-virus propaganda or an attack on white American women. In the space of three minutes we witness a disruptive, argumentative passenger refusing to sit beside another she believes to be unvaccinated; the truth is left to the viewer which may be too subtle for some. We don't learn if he's vaccinated or unvaccinated, which may be the point and is therefore a non-bias representation of a situation that may occur. 'May' being a key word, and not to be disregarded in suggesting this is how all women react in a situation surrounding the Covid-19 vaccine. Regardless, her ability to refuse her seat whilst being the only one without a mask suggests that she's the only person putting others at risk. A film that gained viral success within a week sent the world on a bizarre battle for the truth. Is it a real incident or is it fiction? Why does it matter? The film delivers one simple message, "whoever we are, whether we're vaccinated or not, we should respect each other." In other words, be kind to one another. It's not up to anyone else how we make ourselves feel safe during a time of horror and uncertainty.
