I loved this for its difference from the American show, yet still retaining elements. I loved the diversity of the German fab 5, much more diverse than the US fab 5. The personal looks and styles of these guys are more out in terms of what Americans can deal with on their screens and what Germans can. The most negative reviews are coming from people who don't get that everything does not have to be done the American way. One guy is complaining about boomers in a Europe? What relevance does that have here, the fab 5 and the two guests I have seen so far are wayyy younger than boomers (who are hitting their 70s now) - yep, so don't know what you meant there mate. Don't expect the people in the show to relate to people the same way that the American fab 5 and their guests relate. Germany is a very different society that has evolved from very different circumstances than the US. So I ask you to please clear your mind of expectation that the German show will be the same as the American show. Because it is a different culture you might not understand everything the hosts do, how they interact with their guests, and the fashion choices. Get over it. The biggest problem I had, and it was a big one, was queer eye Japan where the fab 5 went to Japan knowing very little about Japanese culture and bossed Japanese people around loudly. That show's super cringe factor demonstrates that local presenters are needed in different countries.
