Charlie Hawkins (Ethan Holey) receives a letter informing him that he will win one million dollars if he can spend one night in the old Wagner mansion. Charlie is unaware that back in the 1980's, the eeevil Wolfgang Wagner (Steve Rimpici) carried out ungodly experiments in the mansion's laboratory, creating a parasitic monster!
Now, Charlie and a group of other unsuspecting teens must survive the night in order to collect the prize.
Horror and CGI splatter ensue.
THE PUPPET MONSTER MASSACRE is a ridiculous-on-purpose homage to / parody of monster movies. It is indeed done entirely with puppets. Obviously a comedy, it succeeds quite well at inducing laughs. Sort of like The Muppets on meth, the humor is suitably raunchy, and the characters are about as silly as one might expect.
The entire production looks as though it cost less than a digital camera, and only runs an hour in length. In other words: before it can get too tedious, it's over.
BEWARE: The makers of this movie are not above the use of fart jokes! Or, actual farts! Multiple times! Even bunny farts!
Not recommended for those looking for a serious horror classic...
