Heimat

... where the heart is? But where is the heart at? The themes of this movie are not bad at all. If you are an immigrant yourself or have been away from your "home" (country) for a long time yourself, you will be able to feel with the main character. At least a little. Unfortunately the acting does not help that much and the plot remains very thin throughout the movie.

Nudity and other things won't help making this better or more exciting and the adding of two other characters brings in some interesting options. But even those are not fully explored. There is so much more that could have been in the movie, that you might miss even without knowing exactly what it is ... Still not a bad movie, based on its central idea
