A gem of the channel, impeccable production design and a great cast mixed with veteran and young actors that works perfectly, with a brutal acting aspect that takes them out of typecasting.
Great characters, Gastón Salgado is enshrined in the protagonists such as the honorable Pedro Ramírez, not to mention "La Gato", Carmen Zabala stole the show. Great work by the debutante María Jose Weigel and with a strong feminist charge. But as I always highlight in soap operas, there are the villains, of which there are plenty in this production, The Perverse Antonia Williams played by Paola Volpato, who is hated and admired, the despot Cornelis by Marcelo Alonso, the self-conscious Gregorio by Pancho Melo, The calculating Ester, but also how can we forget Rodrigo Soto and Roberto Farías, two great actors who shine with great villains and with delicious black humor.
Of the secondary ones I would like to highlight María Gracia Omegna, who made a brutal turnaround if we compare her with her previous works, excellent. Alejandra Araya impeccable with her detective that we treasured from minute one, and also Ingrid Cruz as Sister Helena, a peculiar nun that everyone will love.
The narrative rhythm oscillates between speed and pause but never boring, since each narrative event contributed to the story, perhaps some events could have happened in a different way or given more of themselves, but it never got tiring.
Great work by Rodrigo Cuevas, a great addition to the night schedule.
