As a Thai, I have to say this is one Thai movie that I am proud of. The story was beautifully told with wonderful performance from the cast, with an ending that is not "soap-opera" or "Hollywood" style. It ends the way it should ends, heartfelt and bitterly sweet.
This is a story of twin teenage girls living with parents who always fight and are about to divorce. They hang on to each other and love each other deeply. Until one day, a boy came into their lives in a situation that is hard for both of them not to fall in love and it's hard also for the boy to understand himself who exactly in these two that he loves.
Besides really good acting from the kids, both the boy and the girl (the twins are played by one girl), I must say that this story is so real that I couldn't help imagine that it could be a true story, a memory of someone's first love. Passionate and complex feelings for girls this age, complicated bond between the twins, and confusion of feelings that could really happen to anyone in such a situation, and the final decision of the boy, are artfully and clearly depicted in this film. The director has eyes for details of feelings that you could see slowly built up in characters, something that we all can relate to for it can really happen like that in real life, in our youth. The cinematography is beautiful and Northeastern countryside of Thailand is filmed very well. There are symbols and deeper meanings if you look for. It is a movie that can bring you tears of joy and gives you things to think about. If you have a heart, you'll love this film. If you have twin, you will really, really relate to this film. (My friend who has a twin watched this film with me and she said that the movie shows good understanding and real nature of relationship between twins.) I highly recommend this film.
