Right out of the gate, Saints Row IV flips the typical open-world game formula. You're trapped in this alien simulation, but instead of just running around and causing mayhem, you're basically a superhero, Matrix-style. Running up walls, gliding through the city, telekinesis - you get these powers early on, and every time you upgrade, you feel unstoppable. The game's relentless about letting you go all out, and the power upgrades keep you wanting to push further, faster, and higher. And yes, kicking Zinyak's ass is as satisfying as it sounds.

The missions are wacky in the best way - one minute, you're rescuing your crew from nightmare scenarios; the next, you're hacking into Zinyak's simulation like some kind of superhero hacker. The humor? Saints Row at its finest. Every ridiculous moment kept me laughing and somehow made the action even better.
