There were originally plans for Tokyo Mirage Sessions FE# to be dubbed with English voice acting in the North American Wii U release. However, the company Atlus decided to have to it retain the Japanese language as it was very expensive to hire dubbed English voice actors. However, Atlus decided to have English subtitles in the localized North American and Europe versions as it was much cheaper to have English subtitles than it is to hire a dubbed English voice acting team.
