Digital Playground, once a mighty force in Adult Cinema with some groundbreaking hits like the two big-budget "Pirates" movies and a steady stream of rom-coms by the late Robby D, has sunk mighty low recently with its hit or miss web series. This one involving gambling and crime features several attractive actresses, but has no action, drama or suspense. It's just sex footage on a minimal budget.
First off, star Lilly Bell doesn't look right with dark black hair, after establighing hersef with a fine career as a blonde. Somehow there's a trend in the works, as recently busty starlet on the rise Chloe Surreal has also made the same sudden change.
She's a waitress working at a high-roller gambling den operated by John Strong, with Mick Blue as a corrupt gambler also targeted along with Strong by undercover detective Isiah Maxwell, posing as a croupier.
How they're caught and what happens in between is relentlessly uninteresting, with zero plot twists and just sex on the shooting schedule. The assumption that viewers just want to watch explicit, mechanical sex for a couple of hours, dished out in the streaming era in 1/2-hour or so vignette helpings, is insulting. This failure doesn't even rise to the level of being mediocre.
