The Playstation game is either love it or hate it. This game is a lot stronger. I love the idea of playing two teams in different story lines. Creating this type of strategy game with the characters from Small Soldiers is a great idea. My biggest problem with the PS game is that you only play as Archer and Chip. This one you get to play all the Commandos and Gorgonites.
My problem with the game is that when you make a character do anything, they just repeat the same lines over and over and over and over. That gets irksome. But you can just turn the volume off.
It is a nice game where you have to use your brain to figure out how to get past your enemies and obstacles. Also, when you start a level, the whole screen is covered in black fog and when your characters move into the fog, it goes away and you can see where you're going. This also adds challenge to the game because you have decide what direction to go to. But be careful, sometimes you walk into a trap.
The graphics and cut scenes are also really good.
Overall, a nice strategy game that interest both fans and non-fans of the movie.
